yes the load balancing policy is Route based on originating Port ID.
But there is not a lot of traffic when it comes to vMotion. Keep in mind that there is only one nic active for vMotion, nic1, the other one is in stand by, nic 2. The same for management, nic2 is active, and nic 1 in stand by. this is the configuration on each vmkernel port. On the switch they are configured as team
